Currently, order confirmations are stored in the orders table. This consumes disk space unnecessarily. Since there is no need to store the emails there, because all emails are already archived separately, this functionality should be removed without replacement.

What is to be retained is to be able to send a new order confirmation by e-mail, which is then generated live in the step from the currently current order data. So that you as a store owner can see in advance what will be sent, you should have a preview button that does the same as the previous "Order Confirmation", only that then not the content of the last generated order confirmation is displayed, but this happens just as live with the current order data. If you want to see an old order confirmation, you can do that under Customers > Emails.
