GX-Entwicklung

Preconditions:

• have 2 categories ready, each with a few products

1. go to Catalog > Product-Filter
2. create 2 new filters, with 2 filter values each (e.g. Color: red, blue; Size: M, L), save
3. leave the start page filter deactivated
4. go to Catalog > Categories / Products, assign 1 filter to 2 categories (e.g. Category 1: Size; Category 2: Color)
5. go to Catalog > Categories / Products, assign corresponding filter values to the products in the 2 categories
6. go to Toolbox > Cache, clear all caches
7. go to frontend, open 1 category, select 1 filter value (products get filtered accordingly)
8. leave the filter selected and open the other category

expected:

• the category gets opened, all products are shown because the filter is category-specific and not persistent

• the filter value selection is displayed according to the categories setting

actual:

• the category gets opened, all products are shown, the filter value selection is gone

Workaround:
The filter value selection can be displayed by refreshing the page
