Bei Attributen mit Bildern die als DropDown oder Text dargestellt werden, wird kein Bild mehr angezeigt obwohl in den Werten schon zugewiesen

Bei Attributwerten wird das Bild nicht mehr sichtbar für den Kunden angezeigt wenn man ein Attributwert auswählt, hier werden die Bilder entweder gar nicht angezeigt, wenn man keine Kolleltion hat.
Es muss möglich sein auch bei Attributen die nur Bilder in den Werten haben und als DropDown oder Text angezeigt werden auch das Bild groß als Artikelbild anzuzeigen.
Es sollte dafür keine zusätzliche Kollektion nötig sein, da Shops die durch ein Update plötzlich keine Attributbilder mehr angezeigt bekommen enorm viel Arbeit haben allen Attributen jetzt eine Bildkolleltion zuweisen zu müssen.

With attribute values the image is no longer visible to the customer when you select an attribute value, here the images are either not shown at all if you have no collection.
It must be possible to display the image in large size as an article image too if you have only images in the values and the image is displayed as drop-down or text.
It should not be necessary to have an additional collection for this, because stores that suddenly don't get any attribute images after an update have a lot of work to assign all attributes to an image collection.

EDIT

1. go to Modules-Center, install Product Options
2. configure a product option with at least 1 option value
3. upload an image to that option value (but leave the display type at 'dropdown')
4. go to Catalog > Categories / Products, assign the option value to a product
5. call that product in the frontend, if applicable switch between options

expected:

• the deposited option value images should be part of the products image gallery to be clarified: where and under what condition should deposited option value images be shown

actual:

• the deposited option value images aren't accessible on the products detailed page
