A native speaker wouldn't choose the word 'article' for shop items, in fact he would prefer the word 'item'. Because 'product' is nearer to the german word 'Produkt' we should use this instead, it's still better than 'article'.
The phrase 'article' is spread through the whole shop, starting by the 'testing article', also in StyleEdit4 'articles' and 'products' are mixed.
