Preconditions:
go to shop settings > special modules. activate the Customer Status Check

  1. deactivate a category via Customer Status Check for a given customer group
  2. call this category in the frontend by another customer group, note the URL
  3. login as a customer from the restricted customer group
  4. try to reach the forbidden category via calling the URL
  • expected result: a message apperars, 'category not found'
  • actual result: the category can be found this way

In 3.15_develop branch this is no longer possible. On redirecting to the page as descriped you'll receive a 'The requested page could not be found.' page
