Preconditions:

have a freshly installed shop ready, no changes have been made in the layout/design section in the backend; have some products in the "TOP"-category

register at the at the app-store and install and activate the meco gallery theme (it can be activated under shop settings)
go to the frontend and check out the homepage, compare it with the live demo

expected result: the shops homepage looks like the live demo
actual result: the shop doesn't look like the live demo, see attached screenshot
