Unter Shop Einstellungen > Land/Steuer > USt-IdNr. kann man die Option "Netto-Preisanzeige anhand USt-IdNr. bestimmen" an- oder ausmachen.
Wenn die Option an ist, dann werden Bestellungen aus dem EU-Ausland **immer** netto ausgewiesen. Dies ist unabhängig davon, ob für ein EU-Ausland ein eigener Steuersatz mit Steuern angelegt ist oder ob ein Land in die Steuerzone "Steuerzone EU" verschoben wurde.
Die Einstellungen in den Steuersätzen und Steuerzonen werden daher für Länder aus dem EU-Ausland vollständig ignoriert, wenn die Option an ist.
Die Bezeichnung ist sehr mißverständlich, da man davon ausgeht, dass die Netto-Preisbestimmung nur für Bestellungen gilt, bei welchen auch eine USt-IdNr. angegeben wird. Dies ist aber nicht der Fall, die Netto-Preise werden auch unabhängig davon mit dieser Option erzwungen.
Das Problem ist, dass wenn die Mwst. auf der Rechnung ausgewiesen werden soll für ein Land das nicht in der Steuerzone EU ist, das funktioniert nur wenn die Option deaktiviert ist.
Kann wie folgt reproduziert werden:
1. Gambio Admin öffnen
2. Einstellungen prüfen ob "Netto-Preisanzeige anhand USt-IdNr. bestimmen" aktiv ist
3. Unter "Kunden->Kundengruppen" prüfen, dass für die Gruppe "Neue Kunde" die Option "Mwst. anzeigen auf "Netto" steht
4. Option "Mwst. auf Rechnung ausweisen" aktivieren
5. Steuerzone für die "Schweiz" anlegen und das Land "Schweiz" aus der "Steuerzone EU-Ausland" entfernen
6. Neuen Steuersatz für die Steuerzone "Schweiz" anlegen und dort 20% Mwst. hinterlegen
7. Ausloggen
8. Ein neues Kundenkonto erstellen mit "Schweiz" als "Land"
9. Nach deim Einloggen, werden die Preise Netto dargestellt. (richtig)
10. Artikel in den Korb legen
11. Mwst. wird nicht angezeigt, (Falsch)
12. Ausloggen
13. als Admin einloggen
14. Option "Netto-Preisanzeige anhand USt-IdNr. bestimmen" ausschalten
15. Ausloggen
16. neues Kundenkonto erstellen
17. Land "Schweiz" auswählen
18. Nach dem Einloggen werden weiterhin Nettopreise angezeigt. (richtig)
19. Artikel in den Korb legen.
20. Mwst. von 20% wird zzgl. angezeigt (richtig)

Under Shop Settings > Country/Tax > VAT ID you can turn on or off the option "Determine net price display using VAT ID".
If the option is on, then orders from the EU foreign countries **always** are shown net. This is independent of whether a separate tax rate with taxes has been created for a foreign EU country or whether a country has been moved to the tax zone "Tax zone EU".
The settings in the tax rates and tax zones are therefore completely ignored for countries from the EU foreign countries if the option is on.
The designation is very misleading, since it is assumed that the net price determination is only valid for orders where a VAT ID number is specified too. But this is not the case, the net prices are enforced with this option too.
The problem is that if the VAT is to be shown on the invoice for a country that is not in the EU tax zone, this only works if the option is deactivated.
Can be reproduced as follows:
1. open Gambio Admin
2. check settings if "Determine net price display using VAT ID" is active
3. check under "Customers->Customer groups" that for the group "New customer" the option "Show VAT" is set to "Net
4. activate option "Show VAT on invoice
5. create tax zone for "Switzerland" and remove the country "Switzerland" from the "Tax zone EU foreign countries
6. create a new tax rate for the tax zone "Switzerland" and deposit 20% VAT there
7. log out
8. create a new customer account with "Switzerland" as "Country
9. after logging in, the prices are displayed net. (correct)
10. place the product in the basket
11. VAT is not displayed, (Incorrect)
12. log out
13. log in as admin
14. switch off the option "Determine net price display using VAT ID no.
15. log out
16. create new customer account
17. select country "Switzerland
18. net prices are still displayed after logging in. (correct)
19. place the product in the basket.
20. sales tax of 20% is displayed plus (correct)
