In der Desktopansicht des Shops ist viel Platz da, ein Kunde kann bei ausgeklapptem Mneü schnell zu allen Punkten navigieren. Im Mobilmenü gerät dasselbe schnell zur Scrollorgie bis zum Login ganz unten. Es wäre klug hier getrennt eine Präferenz festlegen zu können.

1. Have a shop ready with some categories and some sub- and multi-level-subcategories, maybe similar to gambio testshop 1
2. navigate to layout / design > template settings >> category menu and activate '*Show vertical category navigation in the sidebar*', '*Click on category unfolds subcategory*', deactivate '*Show only subcategories of the current category*'
3. open the styleedit, layout / design > template settings >> load store in edit mode; edit your current style, deactivate: menu boxes >> hide menus boxes on: start page (hint: *deactivate the deactivation, the menu boxes are now visible on the start page*)
4. check your shop in desktop and mobile mode; result: if you click on a category, the sub-categories get opened resp. closed --> OK
5. navigate to navigate to layout / design > template settings >> category menu >>> *Number of category levels that are to be displayed unfolded*, change the number from 0 to 5
6. reload your shop and check it again in desktop and mobile mode
* result: in desktop and mobile mode all categories are expanded to the specified level --> in desktop mode that makes sense, in mobile not so much due to excessive scrolling
* a function should be implemented to enter different numbers of displayed category levels for desktop and mobile mode
