includes/classes/phpseclib is very old and should be replaced by the already existing version in the vendor directory.
The SFTP functionality of phpseclib is used in the installer and updater. For testing the ticket, the installer should be run with wrong file permissions for some folders and files like cache or includes/configure.php. This will trigger the form for changing the permissions via SFTP. Furthermore the updater has to be checked. For this you can add some testing entries to a to_delete.txt/to_delete.php and a move.txt. For checking the file permissions, you can remove writing permissions for the GXModules folders for example.
