Apparantly Appearantly the shop logs you out before the session timeout limit ( Shop Settings > System > Sessions) has been reached. According to second level support this problem occurs on all backend pages which are using the new admin structure, such as the dashboard or the settings page because the XHR-Request (admin.php?do=SessionTimeoutAjax) isn't used anymore. On other pages such as "Orders" (/admin/admin.php?do=OrdersOverview) it's still working.
