Current problem:¶

When you review a product with english selected as the shop language, the review only appears on the product page, if you browse the shop with the english language.
If you dont (for example visit it with german selected), then the products star rating (the one from the german review in this example) is still there, but under the product image etc. in the "Customer reviews" section, it just states:

Unfortunately there are no review yet. Be the first who rate this product.

This seems odd, since there clearly is a review (as noticeable by the rating stars), but just not in the currently selected language.

Possible solutions:¶

Simple, but probably not something for the long term:
Change the text to something more fitting in the case, that there are reviews but just not in that language.

Second possible solution:
Handle it as with the new customer management and show all reviews no matter the language and maybe sort them by shop language and date.

Third possible solution:
Have a dropdown with the shop languages, where you can select and deselect different languages for reviews to show.

For second and third:
Maybe have a specific setting in the shop settings for the preferred behaviour.
