Until GX 4.4 the file admin/gm_pdf_order.php contains all the logic for creating and mailing invoices and packing slips. No classes are used, making it hard to maintain and nearly impossible to overload (just via an extender). From GX 4.5 on the code moved to the class OrderPdfManager making the code much more easy to understand, maintain and overload.
