Das Adresszusatzfeld erlaubt die Eingabe von 255 Zeichen, an Paypal werden aber nur 100 übergeben (weil PP die Abwicklung der Zahlung bei längeren Texten verweigert und die Bestellung abbricht, das muss also so).

Das ist nicht optimal, von der Zusatzinformation, die der Kunde hinterlegt, kommt so nur ein Bruchteil an. Zudem muss man in dem Feld keine Romane hinterlegen, eine kurze Angabe wie "oder abgeben bei Hausnr. 10" muss hier reichen. Wenn man bei DPD oder DHL im Portal alternative Adressangaben hinterlegen will, gehen da auch nicht mehr. Der Wunsch wäre daher nur 100 Zeichen Eingabe in diesem Feld zu erlauben.

The additional address field allows you to enter 255 characters, but only 100 characters are transferred to Paypal (because PP refuses to process payment for longer texts and cancels the order, so that's the way it has to be).

This is not optimal, only a fraction of the additional information that the customer deposits arrives. Besides one does not have to deposit novels in the field, a short indication like "or deliver with house no. 10" must be enough here. If you want to store alternative address details in the portal at DPD or DHL, this is no longer possible. The wish would therefore be to allow only 100 characters of input in this field.
